The International Women’s Day (IWD) 2020 is being observed on 08 March, 2020. The theme for this year is “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights” The Government under the aegis of Ministry of Women and Child Development has proposed to observe the Day throughout the country alongwith a media and publicity campaign from 01 March to 07 March, 2020, in the run-up to the main event on 8 March, 2020.
