As part of the 64th National Pharmacy Week celebrations, the NSS unit of Indira Gandhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Perumbavoor organized a Blood Donation Camp on 16th December 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The camp was conducted with the objective of promoting the importance of voluntary blood donation and contributing to the healthcare system. NSS volunteers of the institution actively participated in the event, demonstrating a strong sense of social responsibility and commitment to community service.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation, and a total of 40 units of blood were successfully collected during the camp. The event not only helped in meeting the urgent need for blood but also created awareness among students about the life-saving impact of blood donation.

The Blood Donation Camp was a successful and impactful initiative that highlighted the spirit of service among NSS volunteers and contributed meaningfully to society.
